Are you bold enough and do you like an Apple Green? Or a Kelly Green. If not a lot of walls. That would be I think comforting and a bit exciting cooking space. Then there's the blues, I recently saw a kitchen that had your color of cabinets and counter tops, they had a medium yellow, wasn't pleasing at all. Of you want to stay neutral a grey might go with your brown. Or a cream color? Good luck on your painting decision! You will pick out what makes you feel good, I'm sure!
You have a very neutral pallet, and I think any colour you like would go well. Look online and in magazines for kitchens with colours you like, and go from there.
