I have hickory kitchen cabinets on the bottom and white cabinets on the top, with dark wood floors. I have not picked out the countertops yet. Any ideas on wall color?

If it's for a kitchen you can go with yellow, white, lime green or even a pale blue. This will all depend on your countertops what color will best go with your combination of colors.
You can also look at a color chart and draw lines between your color. This also helps to find a good color to match the color combination that is currently in your kitchen.
I would choose a pale yellow or mint green.
