I just remodeled my kitchen and now have white cabinets and a white back splash with a medium grey counter top and cherry wood colored tile floor. I have purchased a blue and cream fabric for window treatments and can't figure out what color to use on the walls. I painted them yellow, but it doesn't work - too many colors going on I think. Help please.

If you want to tone down the colours, go with light blue walls, or for even less, white walls. I would go with white myself, and maybe match the trim with the blue from curtains. Grey is a very trendy colour, so maybe grey or greige would be a way to go. I suspect the colour matching problem will be the cherry wood tiles, which is what? Reddish? The rest of your kitchen is very neutral and just about any colour in the world should go with the cabinets, counter, and back splash. Since you like blue, maybe a bluish light grey??? Maybe paint a big square of the colour you choose, and then see how it looks with the floor.
Thank you ... actually the floors although are called Cherry are really a dark wood tone not too red more brown. I've decided not to go with the blue fabric I purchased for the window treatments and use red gingham check window treatments I have...
I agree--too many colors. Pick up any of the colors already there and go with a lighter or darker version of one of those as: darker gray, darker or lighter blue, darker or lighter cherry red like the floor. A darker color would add some contrast.
