I am looking for some type of rod or something to put on the outside of my refrigerator door to hang my kitchen towel on. Years ago I had a rod with suction cups on either end which adhered to the door, but I haven't seen them in the longest while.
Happy Holidays!

Command makes something like you describe. They call it for bathrooms, but it would work for your purposes:
Command by 3M 9" Towel Bar is the full name: Here is a linkwww.command.com/
They are not cheap, but maybe you can shop around and find one for less than 9.99.
Hope it works for you!
I found magnetic curtain rods at Bed, Bath & Beyond to use on our metal doors. (I didn't want to drill holes in the metal.) They are adjustable, and they might work on your fridge.
Hot glue suction cups to a piece of wood.
Screw hooks on the other side of the wood.
I'm not sure they make these any more. The ones I see now are for the bathroom and may be you can adapt this to your refrigerator door. However, it should be easy to make a small one of your own using a PVC pipe and 2 large suction cups.
