I enjoy knitting and crocheting during these long cold winter months. My Catholic church has a collection box for children's hats, scarves, and mittens which will be sent to an orphanage. I've saved all my new left over yarn from other projects, and now I'm on a knitting craze.
I'm making matching hats and mittens and have already completed 7 sets and still working on more.

I have been searching on the net and haven't been able to find a pattern for a knitted hat with cat ears. Could somebody please help. I'm sort of new at knitting so a simple pattern would be ideal?
I googled and found this:
www.platypusdreams.com/
but the pattern costs money.
but I figure if you can get it free, its better :)
as you are a beginning knitter, you can drop the cables in it :)
Have you tried Lion's Brand Yarn? THey sponsor the Knit It! magazine and I think there may have been a similar hat a few years back....
Here is a chic pattern:

Does anyone have a knitting pattern for an easy to knit hat - preferably one which can be easily adjusted to fit different sizes of adult head. I'm looking for a man's hat, a woman's or unisex?
I don't have any patterns for knitted hats, but here are two knitting websites:

The Joann Fabrics website and Lion Brands website have lots of free patterns. If you google them, you'll find them very easily.
If you go to Lionsbrand yarn website, they have free patterns.

I'm looking for a knitting pattern for a men's winter hat, but one with the ball cap type brim. My husband keeps hinting about how much he'd love me to make him a hat like this, but I have yet to have found a pattern. Does anyone one out there have a knitting pattern for this hat or know where I can find one?
I'm attaching a picture I found to give you a better idea of the kind of hat I'm hoping to make, but the pattern doesn't have to be anywhere near an exact match, just so it has the pattern design for a brim on the hat.

I am looking for a pattern to knit or crochet a cap for a breast cancer patient. It has an eyelet row that you weave a scarf through. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Number 18 under crochet shows a scarf woven through. #12 also appears to have 'hole' that may work to weave a scarf. You might also look at the bottom of the page in the LINKS section for others.
The ideas on these 2 pages are good to read as of what NOT to use that might cause the person discomfort.

Does anyone have a pattern for the pussy cat hat or infant kitty cat hat? If so I would like a copy. I am trying to knit a infant hat with pussy cat ears. Thank you.
I found this crocheted baby hat on eBay. You could probably make a knitted version just by looking at the photograph.

I'm knitting a hat for my brother-in-law, and I need to know how to knit wolf ears. I already knitted the hat, I just need how to knit thick ears, after that I plan on sewing the ears onto the hat. I need very simple directions!
Thanks!

Earlier this year I saw a free knit hat pattern that held an iPod in the folded up band. I am trying to locate it again now that my grandson has received one. Anyone know where I might locate this pattern? Thanks!

This is a page about knitted newsboy cap pattern. This retro style cap is familiar to us from old movies and such. It is a cute style to reintroduce to your wardrobe.
