Avoid losing your office supplies and tools by putting labels on them. This is how I keep mine intact at my workplace. Sometimes my stuff, especially pens and pencils, get taken by other workmates. It is an inevitable situation where you or your office mate tend to forget who actually owns the said stuff.
One way to keep it clear is to label with your name. Cut tiny strips of papers with your name or initials clearly printed and stick into your office tools using a transparent tape. Then, at least, you can identify which office supplies you own because you have your name stuck on them.
Use those return address labels that you get in the mail from people who want you to contribute to their charity. I have a backlog of a couple of hundred and use them on a lot of stuff.
