I saw a baby wearing this type of sandal and thought they were adorable. Inexpensive to make and so cute!
Total Time: 15 minutes
Yield: one pair
Supplies:
- stretch elastic
- hot glue gun
- flower or other embellishment
- piece of scrap felt
Steps:
- Cut four strips of stretch lace into 4 1/2 inch pieces, two for each pair of sandals. The following directions will explain how to make one sandal. Glue one end to the underneath side of the flower. Fold other side of lace end to end and hot glue gun in place.
- Take the second strip and insert into the inside of the glued strip at an angle. Glue in place. Add other end and insert at an angle on the other side and glue in place. Glue a round piece of scrap felt on the inside so the lace won't feel scratchy on the baby's skin.
