Looking for more information on my grandmother's cedar chest. I emailed the company and they said they can't give me any historical information on it since they do not keep anything.

One of photos you posted partially shows the serial number of your Lane cedar chest.
It is known that by this serial number, you can determine the production date. The same is written on the Lane furniture website: "You can read the serial number BACKWARDS to determine the production date. For example: serial number 753150 would have been produced on 05/13/57. Some chests may also have an extra digit which denotes the plant location. For example: serial number 2557121 would have been produced on 12/17/55 in plant #2."
I think there was a period when Lane added the serial numbers for some of chests not backwards. I found a few more Lane Cedar chests with serial numbers, which also cannot be read backwards (see attached screenshots) instappraisal.com/
So you have Lane Cedar Chest 1930, the price is about $ 150.
Look for the serial number and read it backwards. It will tell you the month, day and year it was manufactured
Looking for information:
You will need the serial number that is printed on your chest to be able to find the information on when it was made.
Lane does not answer questions about their vintage cedar chests but you can check some of their FAQ and may find information that you need. Be sure to check question about replacing keys.

I did see the same chest on WorthPoint also but I do not like using their site as the only information provided is provided by the seller and they can state anything they wish about their items just as they do online all the time.
This appears to be similar to your cedar chest. It will give you some info regarding your chest:
