Made of 2 by 4 foot lumber, this cute "H" shelf will be decor on my daughter's new home!

Supplies:
- 2 by 4 foot lumber
- staples
- paint brush
- staple gun
- white paint
- embellishments
- hot glue and glue gun
- wood glue
- small dowels
- drill
Steps:
- Cut 2 by 4 pieces to form desired letter. For our "h" letter, we cut the two side pieces, 24 inch tall, and the middle piece 8 inch long.
- Paint pieces and let dry. Drill a hole on the inside middle of the two longer pieces for a dowel to be inserted. Drill a hole on either side of the middle piece and insert dowel.
- Plan how to decorate with embellishments. May also use staple gun for stapling trim as pictured.
- Using wood glue, glue hole of predrilled holes and insert middle piece with dowel. Clamp and let dry. Using hot glue gun, glue ribbons, lace, buttons, flowers, etc. onto piece.
