Photo Description At the top of the picture, you will see 2 triangles. Click on this to get full screen. To stop the motion, click on the X. I learned that trick yesterday as I was looking at the website. I am posting pictures from the web cams at Kure Beach and Wrightsville Beach and also Rodanthe which is located on the outer banks. The tide was high and the water was rough so not much beach showing there. Yesterday, we had a cold front to come through and it rained all day. Evidently, it was great weather for surfing at Wrightsville Beach. I saw at least 20 surfers in the water at the same time. I just wanted to share this so you could also enjoy watching the weather and the action on our North Carolina coast. It should be more interesting when the weather warms up.
To watch live web cams on our North Carolina beaches, type www.surfchex.com in your web search. You can pull up a beach and there are other beaches listed at the bottom of the screen that you can click on.

Surf's up at Wrightsville Beach, NC.
Someone having a good time at Wrightsville Beach. I love watching these beach cams.
People are really enjoying the beach this holiday weekend. It will be a different story tomorrow with a tropical storm headed our way.
Spending Labor day weekend at home and off the roads works fine with me although I do enjoy watching people on these web cams. Looks like they are having a great time at Wrightsville beach!! Kinda wish I was there in the middle of them.
