I am looking for advice on colour in a living room. We have a dark brown coach, gold couch, and light floors. Our current room colour is green. The whole house is, that's why we want to change it up. Any suggestions would be great.

I think your room is large and has a lot of natural light, so you could paint one wall red and the rest of the walls a medium to light tan. This would bring the two couches together and red will make it pop. Your two sofas would look good against either wall when you decide to move furniture around for a different look and feel. I'd also add tan toss pillows to the sofa on the opposite color to help pull it together or pattern pillows that has both colors in it. I like patterns as it breaks up all the solid colors and makes the appearance interesting.
