We need several rolls of this Waverly wallpaper purchased in Catonsville, MD in the mid-1980s. It was a discontinued pattern and we don't know the pattern name or number. This is for a repair job on a wall in our front foyer. Any ideas?

I would contact customer service at Waverly. If you had the name, you could then put an alert on eBay or amazon.
Thanks, good ideas.

Wallpaper is such a challenge, especially if you don't know the name.
Hopefully the Waverly folks can give you the name and then you can find a true replacement!
If you are a creative sort...and like to have statement pieces....
You may want to consider (depending on how big the space is that needs repaired, hanging something over the space (easy fix that does not solve the problem, but can be a nice focal point).
You can also look for wallpapers that are similar and add them to yours...almost like making your own mosaic from other papers (see how many of these are similar):

If you did this in several places it would look planned and you could give the space your own look.
I can tell you if you are planning to sell your home any time in the near future, often times the new buyers will want wallpaperless houses. If you are doing this as a repair, can you remove it totally from one place and leave it on another wall to create a statement wall vs. a statement space?
Just my 3 cents worth!
Post back what you decide to do.
