I cut a slice from my new luffa sponge to use under my soaps to keep them dry and firm in my soap dishes.
I just used a sharp bread knife on a dry luffa sponge. Easy!

Leave it to Donna and Mother Nature. Great idea and I'm thinking it's sorta cute in the bathroom, too.
Discovered that the luffa piece makes a great scratch FREE pot scrubber too!
I stopped using luffas years ago, after I read how it harbors bacteria that can transfer to the body, bath soap, etc. I have attached a article here for addititional information on use.
