My 3-4 year old sausage dog x Jack Russell has a small lump on her neck. My grandmother left it to her father to sort out, but it is still there. She doesn't seem bothered by it. She is quite a weighty dog.

It could be nothing, but I always recommend getting the vet to check. My sister dog has dozens of similar lumps and bumps. They all needed tested and one had to be removed. Post back what you learn. Prayers for healing!!
It might be just a mole.If it hasn't changed then I would just leave it.See a vet if it changes.

With an overweight dog, it's most likely just a fatty cyst, but it should be checked by your vet just to be safe.
Best to have vet check but typically if it doesn't change, it's likely ok. My MorkiePoo is almost 8 and has one small bump for years.
