Photo Description My main reason for this post is to share my first Hibiscus bloom of the year. It is born on a Hibiscus moscheutos. The name of this variety is 'Luna Pink Swirl'. Yes, I have many tight buds. In a few days, the plant will be covered with blooms. I just had to take a picture, today. With gardening, patience is a must. And yet, it's perfectly OK to sometimes have the anticipation and impatience of a child. Gardening helps keep you young at heart. As for the body, it demands you keep going. I do keep some of the hardy varieties. Earlier, I did a post showing my Hibiscus coccineus. It is the Marsh Mallow. Common names include 'Star Of Texas' and 'Maple Leaf Hibiscus'. I thought it worth showing, again.
There are many types of Hibiscus. Some are tender, more tropical in nature. Sadly, I don't have room to overwinter them in the house. As it is, the interior of my home looks pretty much like the exterior, plants everywhere.
