My Magic iron has no power to it even though the electric plug is good. Other items are fine and working on the same outlet. What can I do I love my Magic iron and would like to repair it. Do you know where I can get it repaired in the San Luis Obispo area?
Thank you.

Magic steam iron repair:
- Considering you have no power to the iron it more than likely is the electrical cable on the iron.
- In order to replace the electrical cable on the iron it must be first disassembled.
- This can be quite complicated if you've never done this before.
- I would suggest viewing this video to help you take your iron apart. www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8wpTTXyQCo
- Once you have disassembled the iron it is not so difficult to replace the cord on the iron.
- Normally there are 2 to 4 screws that hold the wires in place on the inside of the iron.
- These will need to be removed.
- When replacing the new cord on the iron make sure you follow the same wire color coding as the one you just took off.
- If not this can cause damage to the iron or cause an electrical short in your home.
