Silver Post Medal for All Time! 433 Posts

Before using a bar of soap, open wrapper and let your bar of soap dry out for a week or so. This really makes it last much longer.

Ha! Another person who thinks like me! DH thinks I'm mad, but I insist that drying out my soap makes it last a little longer. I love to leave my Bronner's lavender soap sitting in my hallway linen cupboard unwrapped and on my towel shelf, and then I take the carefully opened paper wrapper and slide it into my extra set of bed linens! The scent is wonderful and it really lasts a long time and my sheets have a perfect amount of light lavender soap scent. I've only tried it with Bronner's soap, but if you've got a nice clean scent that would be nice to smell on your sheets, give it a go and see what you think!

I'm a bit of a hoarder, so I've got a wrapper on every shelf, but I do remember to go through each shelf and take out the wrappers once a year in spring when I give the cupboard a good clean every year. If you're a guy, !maybe try it with your favorite soap wrappers. Give it a go in your own linens and see the difference!
