I have been looking for, but have been unable to find, who makes the English muffins for Kroger's. Does anyone happen to know who makes the English muffin for Kroger?

It always pays to check the date when trying to find information on what a company is doing at the present time as 'old' news may not be correct.
Kroger likes to keep their business private so it is difficult to find information about a specific product.
I did find this in 2019 Kroger news:
"Kroger operates 35 food manufacturing facilities that make thousands of products ranging from bread, cookies and milk to soda pop, ice cream and peanut butter. About 40% of private-label items found in the company's stores today are made at one of Kroger's manufacturing plants."
It would appear from this news release that Kroger is making their own bread so that might include their English Muffin.
I checked several sites and it appears this may be the latest information on Kroger's store brands.
Hope this helps but occasionally you can contact customer service at a company headquarters and they will provide this type of information.

English Muffins may be a specialty that is made in only one place - either by Kroger or contracted out as only bread and bakery are mentioned. Also, it's possible they are made in more than one factory.
It is true , that store labeled brand products are made by major companies , that can make mass quantities through there factories without building there own factories. This saves money and puts the products where needed. This contract with these companies are kept quiet and requires a little digging to find which competitor. They are often major bakeries like - Sara Lee , Nature's Own , Pepperidge Farm, just to name a few. This keeps cost down and items can get produced faster for demand on the shelves.

My ex-husband owns a Flowers bread route. (Nature own, Bunny bread, Cobblestone Mills) in 2016 when I was still with him Kroger and Walmart would contract out their private label bread. So ever year or to they would take bids from either Flowers or Sarah Lee.
Kroger uses to make their own bread they sold in stores. Before this, they would normally contract another bread company for their no-name labels and use their label on the bread. Recently they are phasing out their bakery for their bread and signing a new contract with Earthgrains.
