Making Grilled Caprese Toast

Ingredients:

• 1 loaf French bread
• 1 stick butter, melted
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• sliced mozzarella cheese
• 4 plum tomatoes, sliced
• fresh basil
• seasoned oil and vinegar

Steps:

1. Slice French bread.

 
2. Melt butter with garlic powder and pepper. Brush butter over each slice.

 
3. Put under the broiler until golden brown.

 
4. Place a tomato slice, a basil leaf and a dash of oil and vinegar; then a slice of mozzarella.

5. Put under the broiler until golden brown and melted.
