Making Lavender Water?

I've searched this page several times and cannot find a recipe for lavender water. Can someone help?

ehow has how-tos about just about anything. But I ask myself, one of the ingredients is lavender essential oil - could I make that myself? So I googled and ended up at ehow again www.ehow.com/how_4443584_make-lavender-essential.... I guess this assumes you live in an area where lavender plants can be grown.

Hello! Proceed just like for making tea. Use 200 ml of mineral water and a handful of dried lavender flowers. Infuse for 5 minutes and put in a vial.

The lavender water you obtain can be kept in a refrigerator for 10 days. Hope this help!
