Can anyone tell me if I can use rock salt to make scented simmering crystals for my oil burner? If so can someone tell me how to make it or put a link on with a video to show me how to make some please?

You can use Rock Salt.
I do encourage you to be very careful when making simmering crystals that you follow the instructions carefully and never leave them unattended.
People don't think these can be flammable but in some situations (like using the wrong oil) they can be.
