Here is an easy way to form mini patties for making sliders.
You want to use about 2 oz. of hamburger for each patty. I found that a large cookie scoop worked really well and measured the exact amount. Double check with a kitchen scale if necessary.
Put the scoop of hamburger into a 1 cup measuring cup. Use your fingers to flatten the meat into the bottom of the cup. Gently tap the cup on a piece of wax paper and the patty will fall out.
