I love ranch dip. While I soon plan to make my own mix, I had to use up the two packages I had. But when I make it with a regular size of sour cream, it makes so much I often don't use it up. Since it starts out with sour cream, that window of time isn't as long as I would need to use it all up.
So, I came up with a math and portion control idea today and this is it.
So for every cup of sour cream, you would need 3 teaspoons of mix. And for every 1/2 cup you would need 1 1/2 teaspoons. And 1 1/2 teaspoons is 1/2 of a Tablespoon.
So I took the proper measurements and mixed them together. I measured out 1/2 cup of sour cream and added 1/2 Tablespoon of mix. With my very mini whisk, I made the perfect portion and ratio for a smaller portion.
My dip is always fresh and easy to mix!
I hope this helps. N-JOY!
