Total Time: 3 hours
Yield: 4
Source: myself
Ingredients:
1 pkg smoked neck bones
2 cans pinto beans
1 pinch thyme
2 pinches seasoning salt
1 pinch accent
Steps:
Wash the smoked bones well; getting between the bones. Place them in your crock pot. Season them with your favorite seasoned salt. I added Accent, which many people don't use. It's ok to leave it out. Add two cans of pinto beans, using the liquid from the can for full flavor. Add a little thyme to this as well.
Place everything in your crock pot and let cook down for a few hours. I cooked mine on low overnight for the bone to be edible. Yum! This works best with a good pinto bean brand.
