Making a Foam Goody Bowl

Supplies:

• 1 piece foam board
• at least half meter paper twine
• single hole puncher
• scissors
• pencil for marking
• round pattern

Steps:

1. Trace a round pattern onto the foam board.

 
2. Cut out this round shape.

 
3. Fold it in half but only crease the edges (see second photo).

 

 
4. Make 8 equal folds which will then create 16 lines on the edges. Mark these points.

5. Cut the markings at least 1 1/2 to 2 inches long toward the center of the circle.

 
6. In each cut out, make 2 holes in the corners using the single hole puncher. (I lost my puncher so it's okay to use scissors)

 
7. Put two holes from different sides together.

 
8. Insert the twine in the next set of holes.

9. Continue till it reaches the last set of holes.

 
10. It should form a bowl now. Secure the twine by making it into a bow.
