Anyone have ideas on how to make a grandma's paddle? I saw one at a thrift shop, but my grandson wasn't born yet and now he is 3 and I wish I would had gotten it.

I'm not sure what a Grandma's Paddle was originally, but I've seen them at craft shows. Sweet heart-shaped pillows (sometimes fancy) with paint sticks for handles. The paint sticks had no advertising on them, and were painted a color
to match the pillow.
