This is a pretty and easy to make greetings card. Make use of sticky backed gems and it will be also super quick. Any size card will do, just cut your materials to match.

Supplies:
1 blank greetings card
pretty patterned paper
embroidery floss in different colours
sticky backed gems
paper glue
scissors
pre printed greetings banner (or print your own)
Steps:
Cut a piece of fancy patterned paper a couple of inches deep and the same width as your card.
Cut it into 2 pieces with a wavy line, making one wider than the other.
Glue the wider piece to the bottom of the card.

Cut pieces of embroidery thread to different lengths.
Run glue along the top edge of the card and glue one end of each piece of floss in place.
Glue the narrower strip of paper to the top of the card, covering the ends of the threads.
Apply a dot of glue to your little finger.

Pull one strand of thread taut and stick in place using the glue on your finger. Repeat with all the strands.
Place a sticky gem at the bottom of each thread, trimming the threads if need be as you go.
