You need cement, a mold, and a cup to put the candle in. You can leave the cement as is or spray paint it.

All you need are the basics and you can make any size you want. If this is your first time working with concrete mix I would suggest you start with a smaller project just to get the feel of how all of this works.

I did ceramics for years. If you want to make a mold you will need to build a wooden box to pour your cement in and let it harden. For the hole in the middle of your cement base use a can. Pour around 1/4 of the box full of cement. Place the can in the center. Before placing the can in the center - coat the can with oil. This makes it easy to pull out. Afterwards, pour the rest of your cement in the box.
Once the cement starts to set, remove the can from the center of your mold. Allow the cement to harden and remove the wood.
