Straw Flowers on Paper - small rectangle of green paper that says Happy Spring To celebrate the first day of spring, my daughter assembled this cute flower artwork that is now hanging on our refrigerator.

Total Time: 20 minutes

Supplies:

paper straws
construction paper
glue
pen
scissors

Steps:

Cut straw into pieces.

Straw Flowers on Paper - cut straws into pieces

Glue down a penny for the center of the flower and glue straws around to resemble flower.

Straw Flowers on Paper - pennies and cut straws

Straw Flowers on Paper - glue a penny down to your background paper for the center of the flower and glue straw section around for the petals

Repeat to make as many flowers you want to make. We made 2 more.

Finish off the flowers by gluing down a stem and leaf (cut out from green construction paper). You can add a Happy Spring sign!
