I recently posted a tutorial on how you can make your own scrap yarn with your extra bits. This is another quick and easy pattern that you can whip up and be proud of. I love the fact that you do not have to weave in any ends, I HATE doing that anyways.:)
So fun to create a useful item out of otherwise disposable things.
Total Time: 30 minutes
Yield: many as you like:)
Supplies:
- 1 Ball of scrap yarn (see below)
- 1 Scissors
- 1 "I" crochet hook
- 2 Hands :)

- Chain 3, double crochet in same space as chain 3, 2 double crochet in each stitch around, join with a slip stitch to top of chain 3. You will have a total of 28 stitches. This is counting your chain 3 as a stitch.
- Chain 3, double crochet in same space as chain 3, *1 double crochet in next stitch, 2 double crochet in next stitch*, repeat directions between asterisk till end of round. Join with a slip stitch to chain 3. You will now have 42 total stitches. (Remember to count chain 3 as first stitch.)
