I am making a standing forest prop out of tree branches. What do I use to anchor 5 foot tall tree branches in a rectangular container?

I would use floral foam and paint it green for grass and use some paper for grass.Cut strips of green paper to make it look like standing up grass.
Not sure how heavy the forest tree might be, but if its rocks or pebbles I think you may be needing quite a lot for it to stand still. I wonder if you would put the prop in cement and then cover it with rocks or fake grass.
