A simple craft for children to make with simple supplies, this butterfly is sure to delight children of all ages.
Approximate Time:
Cut a strip of tissue paper long enough to circle the toilet paper tube. Leave the width a little longer than the tube for tucking.
Apply glue around the toilet paper tube with the foam brush. Roll the tube with the tissue paper to completely cover and tuck the edges to the inside of the tube.
From the heavy weight paper (cardstock), cut out a butterfly wing shape in all one piece.
Cut some tissue paper into small squares. Apply glue with the brush to the cut out wings and attach tissue paper squares all over.
Staple wings to the back of the toilet paper tube.
Cut the pipe cleaner in half and staple them to make antennae at the back of the tube.
Apply two drops of glue to the top front of the tp tube and attach googly eyes.
Draw a mouth on with the marker.
Enjoy!
