Does anyone know how to make a holder to mount on the wall?

Use an empty washed tide (for washing clothes) or other plastic container with a handle- size of container will be whatever size your hair dryer fits into without falling through. You will use the bottle hung upside down when finished. You cut off the bottom of the container, cut the handle where it connects at the bottom and remove about 1/4th of the handle. The remaining handle part will be for wrapping and hanging the cord onto.
If you need a larger opening to fit your hair dryer then cut off the top neck of the bottle just enough for the end of the dryer to stick through, but not large enough for the dryer to fall through. Now, on one side of the bottle, cut down part way to make it easier to remove and replace the dryer, or if like my dryer, I cut it down far enough for the wider part of my old style dryer to slide into a cut curve for support.
If hair dryer is long and small around, can use a small container such as dish detergent bottle, cut off bottom to fit and cut two v or small u curves - one on each side near front of bottom for hanging the cord. Also using the bottle upside down. No pictures for this one. Hope this helps.
The simple solution for me was to stick a 3M Command plastic hook on the wall to hang my hair dryer by its loop. I did not have space for a holder.
