You say to cut 18 circles templates ranging in size from 220mm down to 50 mm, in 10mm increments. Ummm----220mm? I have 4 Clover yo-yo circles; a 60mm (it's yellow), a 45mm (it's orange-like your example), a 30mm (it's green) & a 20mm (it's blue).
For your 220mm, are you measuring circumference BEFORE or after you've made the yo-yo? Am I to assume that a 200mm yo-yo starts with, essentially, a piece of mat'l that about 9-inches around?
Thanks!

The measurement in mm is of the diameter. Yes the largest one 220mm is approximately 8.6 inches across. I made cardboard templates for a range of yo yo sizes from 10mm to 240, but did not use all of them for this project. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions please reply to this comment and I should get a notice and can get back to you. Happy yo-yoing.
I thought this was so neat when it was first posted.
I'm posting the link just in case someone missed it and is wondering what this is all about.
