This is a fun and easy project for the fall that will look great on your table. Cloth leaves molded around a bowl and held together by Mod Podge makes a beautiful visual. You can use this as a bowl facing upwards, or turn it upside down over an LED light for a beautiful autumnal glow.
Total Time: 30 minutes, not including dry time
Supplies:
- bowl
- plastic wrap
- Mod Podge
- paintbrush
- artificial cloth leaves
- scissors
- mini LED light
Steps:
- Turn your bowl upside down and place a piece of plastic wrap on top to cover it.
- Spread some Mod Podge on top.
- Add some leaves on top of the Mod Podge.
- Cover the leaves with more Mod Podge.
- Add more leaves on top and down the sides of the bowl. When you're happy with the size and shape of it, cover everything in one more layer of Mod Podge.
- For best results, allow to dry overnight. You can use a hairdryer to speed up the process.
- When completely dry, gently lift the plastic wrap up off the bowl.
- Peel the plastic wrap off the leaves.
- Trim any excess clear dry Mod Podge that hangs off the side of the leaves.
- Use as a bowl or turn upside down on top of an LED light.
