Making An Easy Garden Path We wanted something that would break up our yard and garden space. We decided on a path to break up the landscape and also help with drainage because of the slope of the back yard.

Total Time: 3 hrs.

Supplies:

metal edgers
rubber mallet
weed barrier
pins
mulch
plants (optional)
decorative gravel

Steps:

Decide your placement. We decided 4 feet wide would be a good path size.
With the metal edgers we pre loosened the ground for the edgers.
The edgers were placed half way into the ground and held with metal pins that come with the edgers to secure them down.

After all were placed (interlocked), the weed barrier was put down to cut back on any grass or weeds that might peek through.
Add decorative gravel.

There is NO way this project could have been entirely done in three hours. NO WAY!

That said, you did a beautiful job and it looks professionally done.

It is really quite lovely and inviting. Was there a typo in the length of time of the project?
