Total Time: 15 minutes
Yield: 6 hearts
Ingredients:
- 2.5 cups pink mini marshmallows
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 cups plain popcorn
- oil for greasing
Steps:
- Place marshmallows, butter, and brown sugar in a large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high for 30-45 seconds.
- Remove from microwave and stir with a spatula. Return to microwave for 20 more seconds.
- Add vanilla and salt. Stir until completely smooth.
- Pour popcorn into marshmallow mixture.
- Stir thoroughly, until popcorn is coated.
- Lightly grease a heart-shaped cookie cutter and a mat to work on.
- Lightly grease your hands and press some of the popcorn mixture into the cookie cutter.
- Lift the cookie cutter to expose the popcorn heart.
- If you don't have a heart-shaped cookie cutter, simply grease your hands and shape the popcorn into a heart with your hands.
