Measuring from a Small Container

Maybe I'm the only one that has done this, but when measuring a cup of flour from this small bag, I have been doing it in the bag and it was hard. I finally figured out a better way to do it.

I put my measuring cup in a mixing bowl, filled it with the flour and then leveled it off with a knife. When finished, I just poured the excess back into the bag. It made it so much easier.
