Cookie is a Jack Russell Terrier, approx 10 mos.old and 11 pounds of fun. She is very calm, loveable she does get wild but that is only outside. She does chase our spoiled cat Scottie around and Scottie is not sure about that but loves Cookie. They wrestle, fight to be first in daddy's lap and then nap cuddled up.
She was left in a home for 2 weeks before someone found her and then I saw her and hubby said "No Dog". He saw her and said, "Whatch gonna name her?" She is his baby girl. she is housetrained, sleeps in bed and not one "oops". She does not get into anything and sleeps with us and kennels up for a day nap or to hide from Scottie.
I cannot believe someone left her, she is the joy in our home, along with Mr. spoiled cat, Scottie. She is always good.

To you, and all the other animal lovers here, THANK YOU for caring, and being such good "pet parents". You make the world a better place! AND, my darling dog, Lewis, thanks you. He is a 14-year-old German Shepherd mix, and the sweetest dog! He is arthritic, and I tried the prescription drug, etogesic, but he couldn't tolerate it. I now give him Bufferin, and there are quite a few "human" OTC medications you can give dogs. I checked with my vet too. A wonderful website is http://www.vetinfo.com. You can learn a lot there.
How could anyone leave such a sweet little pup all alone for two weeks? Sometimes I "hate" such evil humans.
Cookie was lucky you gave her a good home. I would have liked to have been the one who found her. Such a sweet face. Be good to each other.
So nice to hear that she was rescued and obviously has a great home now. She's adorable.

OK...the more I look, the more JRT I find that look like our Princess!! How great is that...they look so much alike. Now I know for sure she is a JRT...although bigger. She might also have some Beagle mix. Princess is 8 months old now, got her from local shelter. What a joy!! My daughter and Princess are my kids....always picking on each other!!
