How and when did you get your pet?
We adopted her when she was 2 yrs old and was considered to be a bad cat because she bit an 18 month old who constantly bugged her.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
She roams around chasing squirrels, tries to catch birds, eats grasshoppers, and loves to roll in the wild catnip as seen in this photo. A good roll in the catnip followed by a sound nap in a warm spot makes her day.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
We love her immensely and the feeling is mutual. Our neighbor Terry laughs and says that she should have been a dog because she follows us everywhere when we're outside. She's an indoor/outdoor kitty, but never goes far from home and usually comes when she's called. She's inquisitive and loves to snuggle, but she doesn't like kids and we understand that.

Minette is such a pretty kitty! I applaud you for recognizing that she has good reason to dislike kids, and for accepting her as she is. Children should be taught to treat animals with respect, of course, and to never provoke or tease them.
