I am missing the key to my Lane Chest. Any ideas where I can find a replacement? The serial # is 239090 and the style # is 44472x. Thank you.

I believe that Lane is still replacing locks/keys free of charge so please contact the Lane Company.
It is my understanding that Lane will not replace a key for old locks on chests made before 1987 but will send a new lock and key.
Chests made before 1987 are considered a safety hazard because they lock automatically and pose a danger for children.

I found a replacement key for LANE CEDAR CHEST made BEFORE 1987

You can also contact Lane company themselves , they can give you info and also tell you if there is a retailer close to you for this issue. It is common for keys to get lost - lanefurniture.com/
eBay sells them
Ebay sells the keys and they're $7.95 and up:

Your chest was made on September 9, 1932. Chests manufactured in 1912 through 1987 include a lock that catches and locks shut automatically when the lid closes. The company's recalled the locks in 1996 because this led to the deaths of several children who got locked inside the chests and suffocated. Chests built after 1987 contain the new safety lock. Chests with the original locks may have a different value from those without them, but if your chest has not been replaced with a safety lock, then I advise you to contact Lane Furniture to get a replacement lock.
You can open the chest without the key using a bump key.
If you remember what the key looked like, then get one that looks like it, then use a sharpie to paint the tip black. Put it in, and try to open it - jiggle it a bit so the tumblers rub off the sharpie ink. Take it out and file down the areas where the black was rubbed off.
Or remove the hinges.
