I am a single mom with 3 kids ages 4, 9, and 11. We own our mobile home, but the bricks under it have settled and are not supporting my home. So the room feels like it is going to give out. Also there are rotten places in the floor where we almost fall through. The windows and walls are rotten from the window unit. The roof is leaking and has black mold in some places.
I need assistance getting our house fixed. One agency told me they were going to help me for over 5 months and then told me I was not a priority. The roof in our room has a crack where the trailer is not supported. I don't know what to do. If we have to leave here we are homeless. Please advise where I can find help. I live in Apalachicola Florida.

I would start with HUD and the website. They have all kinds of information and assistance programs for people living in Florida. Here is the website: www.hud.gov/
Step 1
Talk with someone who is higher up in your agency.Be firm and do not stop bothering them.
Step 2
Explain the danger's of falling through the floors.
Step 3
Also you could develop respiratory problems from mold.
Step 4
Also call your local churches be specific as to your problem.
Step 5
Write letters to your MP's offices.
Step 6
Contact your state department of housing.
Step 7
Here is a link that can help www.usa.gov/
Step 8
Good luck.
Step 9
God bless!
