I love candy apples but have not eaten one in years. I don't want to take a chance on breaking a tooth or a crown. I had a little strawberry glaze left over after making a Strawberry Delight cake from a recipe on Thriftyfun. There is a link below.
I put the glaze in a small container thinking it would be good on toast or a bagel with cream cheese spread. Instead, I'm enjoying it on apple slices. It makes the apple taste a lot like a candy apple without the crunch.
I just might buy a bag of strawberry glaze just for this purpose. It's good.
