I am hosting a bday party and was thinking of using regular Dixie waxed paper bowls as a mold for a plaster of Paris memento craft for the kids. Would the finished project release OK from the paper bowl or would the waxed paper plate stick to the project? Any helpful info is welcomed and appreciated by this newbie plaster of Paris craft mom.

UPDATE: I tried and it worked beautifully! So the answer is YES.. Waxed paper bowls work beautifully!

I think it would work. Conventional ways use waxed paper.
It's been years since I did P of P, but we used Vaseline to on the mold. I never tried dixie waxed products...I would think it would work, but you could always do a test run and verify it. Or use Vaseline with it.
There are tons of YouTube videos to turn a newbie into an expert!!
I am sure they have made huge strides in the medium since 19 XX (long, long time ago).
