Mom's Best Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 2 1/2 cup flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 Tbsp. hot water

Directions

Cream together brown sugar, white sugar and shortening. Add peanut butter, vanilla and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients, adding hot water. Combine all ingredients. Spoon on to greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees F.
