Monkey Bread

This sweet bread is easy, ooey-gooey, and makes enough for a crowd

Ingredients:

  • 2-4 cans refrigerated biscuits, any brand
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • Advertisement

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon, or to taste

Directions:

Cut each biscuit into quarters. Have butter, melted in a small bowl, then another bowl of the sugar and cinnamon, mixed, sitting next to biscuits. Drop a few biscuit pieces in butter bowl, get out with a slotted spoon, allowing butter to drip back in bowl. Transfer to sugar bowl and toss to coat. Put into a tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-30 minutes, watching carefully. When done in center, invert onto a plate or platter with sides. Serve warm.

This is fun to sit in a circle and pick at like monkeys.

Servings: 2 cans makes enough for 2-4 people, 4 cans makes enough for 6-8
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 20-30 Minutes
