I'd like to know if anyone knows the rate for move out cleaning for 1 to 3 bedroom apartments in the Columbus Georgia and Phenix City Alabama area? I have been working for someone for a couple years and I know I'm getting ripped off. I could get jobs on my own, but I don't know what to charge and obviously she doesn't want to help me.

You can of course research comparable rates on craigslist.org and other sites, but a rule of thumb for cleaning services is between $25 and $35 per hour, and square footage charges depend on the size of your house, such as, an area less than 1,000 square feet averages $120 while 3,000 square feet or more could cost $140.
My daughter pays a cleaning woman $90 to clean a 2 bathroom, 3 bedroom home. I would charge more because the bathroom and kitchen must be spotless for the new tenants.
