I have an old Murray model 309007X8A, 30" cut with a 12.5 Briggs an Stratton engine. While changing the blade on the mower I had it tilted to the side with a jack and it fell on its side and some of the oil came out of the side. I cleaned it up and took off the carb and cleaned it and replaced the gasket and gas tubes. I checked the spark plug and fuses and they are all good, as well as the battery. When I go to start it, it gives me a crank and then it stops. I go to start it again and it gives me like a half crank and then nothing. After letting it sit for about 10 minutes I try again with the same results.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

There is a switch under the seat. It is a safety switch and the mower will not run unless someone is sitting on it. I have a feeling when you put the mower on its side you disengaged it.
I am so glad you didn't get hurt when it toppled over. Yikes! That could have been very bad.
Maybe call their customer services number and get their feedback:

Hopefully it is something easy, but best to ask the experts for their feedback and see if you can get a quick look see by someone if not.
