There could be a number of things that's preventing your mower from starting. Fuel can leak into the carbon in the cap, which restricts the venting of the fuel system. This can cause the engine not to start or it will only run for a few minutes, then quit. Leave the cap to dry out or replace with a new cap. There is oil inside of the breather tube, which is connected to the carburetor. Oil can then soak into the air filter, causing a restriction and the mower not to start or it will run too rich with fuel. If there's black smoke exhaust coming out of the mower, this is likely the cause & the air filter will need to be replaced.
You probably bent or broke a part. If you dont know about mowers, take it in for servicing.

I think they will be able to help you.
You're probably going to need help from someone that can set up some step by step instructions, as there are most likely several things that will have to be checked and repaired.

A Murray lawn mower won't start:
the fuel tank is empty;
old fuel is clogging the fuel components;
the spark plug is bad; the air filter is plugged;
the battery is bad;
the charging system is failing;
the carburetor is dirty;
a switch is bad.
I found post exactly about this problem diy.repairclinic.com/
Possible cause 1: In some models, when you tip the mower, fuel can leak into the carbon in the cap, which restricts the venting of the fuel system. This can cause the engine not to start, or only run for a few minutes, then quit.
Leave the cap to dry out or replace with a new cap.
Possible cause 2: There is oil inside of the breather tube, which is connected to the carburetor. Oil can then soak into the air filter, causing a restriction and the mower to not start, or run rich with fuel. If theres black smoke exhaust coming out of the mower, this is likely the cause.
Replace the air filter.
Possible cause 3: Fuel in the carburetor can leak into the air cleaner and engine, causing it to flood and fail to start.
Allow the cap to dry out or replace it.
