What would cause my 1 year old pup to die in 3 days when just Sunday he was running around and playing? He started pooping blood on Thursday and passed this morning. The vet give him some medicine but I guess it was too late. I miss my pup so much

It is always very sad and many times very difficult to deal with a death of a precious pet and even more disturbing when the pet is young and appears to be very healthy.
Did you take your pup to the vet when he started pooping blood? Is this when the vet gave him meds? Did the vet say what was causing the problem or give you any information about what was causing his illness?
It certainly seems the vet should have provided you with some sort of diagnosis when they prescribed the medicine.
If they did not, then you should get in touch with the vet and tell them your pup died and you wish to know what was his diagnosis as it could be something that could make your house unsafe for another animal.

Just some meds and it started on a Tuesday night and passed early Thursday morning the vet had no idea
Sorry for the loss of your pet. It could have been an undiagnosed illness or physical defect, or poisoning. Only an autopsy would give a definitive answer.
I am so sorry you are having to go through the grief and sadness that accompanies the death of a pet. Unless the vet can answer your question as to what caused the death, there's no way anyone can know for sure what happened.
I'm so very sorry. Our pups are our family. I was wondering if you had possibly given him some different treats and maybe that was the culprit. Prayers sent your way. I just lost my 18 year old pup and I cry every single day. It's so hard to lose our sweet little pups.
Yes it is hard losing pets that are family members
Parvo maybe.. it works pretty quickly. It maybe in the ground. If you get another pup try to keep it in closed a lil playpen area and kinda away from where the other one had been and see what happens.
So sorry for your loss.
Was he vomiting? Maybe he had Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (HGE). It is a condition that comes on suddenly and starts with vomiting in 50 percent of patients. The diarrhea is generally severe and most dogs will have accidents in the house. The diarrhea becomes bloody and may even look like pure blood.
There are so many possibilities, only a necropsy done at the vet may provide you with answers.
